Rescue Pulley Kit fall protection equipment Description
This rescue kit configured into a "set of fours" enables the rescuer greater versatility and offers a higher mechanical advantage for rescue and general rigging. The set of two pulleys are different colors to ease in identification. Use the set of fours in one direction and you obtain a mechanical advantage of 5:1 and turn it around and 4:1 mechanical advantage is the result which makes this system very versatile. Also the prusiks can be attached at either end, orange to orange or blue to blue. The prusiks are laced onto the restraint cord and then formed into a directional prusik hitch (3 on 2) which prevents the inadvertent loss of the prusik once assembled. Supplied with each kit is a quick pin.
